This Wellness Wednesday gathering will teach participants about how ancient Eastern practices of yoga and meditation can enrich our modern Western lives. We often talk about needing to unplug from our daily crazy, and meditation is touted as the latest hip, trendy life hack. Meditation, sometimes referred to as mankind’s oldest getaway, has been around for over 5,000 years. The benefits outlined by the Buddha are now being proven through scientific research and cutting edge technology. While meditation is quite simple, it is definitely not easy! It is often misunderstood and deemed inaccessible. This session will separate fact from fiction and explore ways you can connect with the practice.
