“I grew up in a suburb of Philly. I went to Penn State and that is where I met my husband! After graduation we moved to Hoboken and then settled in Short Hills, NJ, where we have lived for over 20 years. I worked in the NYC fashion industry as a Merchandising Director for companies like Liz Claiborne and Gap, Inc. I loved what I did, but I also missed spending time with my two young daughters. So I decided to quit and be a stay-at-home mom when my girls were 3 and 5 yrs old. I eventually craved more, and I discovered J.Hilburn Menswear and became a Personal Stylist for them. I was thrilled to be able to use my former fashion background to help men look good in our custom clothing. J.Hilburn offered me the flexibility I needed to be my own business owner but still work around my kids' schedule.
J.Hilburn offers custom men's clothing for all occasions from business (suits and dress shirts) to casual (polos, chinos, jeans) to formal attire (tuxedos). As a J.Hilburn Stylist I make it easy for my clients to update their wardrobe. I go to their home or office, take some quick measurements, and then help them put outfits together. It's all custom so I help pick styling details like the buttons, linings, etc. and then it's made to their measurements. With J.Hilburn I also have a team of Stylists that I mentor, and I love building my team and working with them.
