In my career coaching business, I help moms who have taken a career pause to reboot their professional lives, and find meaningful and flexible work. I help my clients with both the outside tools of career reinvention (resumes, networking strategies, interview preparation ) and the inner work of building confidence and belief in themselves as they re-enter the workforce.

During the pandemic, when they permitted outdoor dining, I would always keep a purse hook with me, figuring that limiting the amount of germs that came into contact with my bag was a good thing.

Betty is a proud first-generation Mexican-American. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a major in English and a minor in Secondary Education. Tokyo was where she found preschool teaching and documenting online her experience of raising a Spanish-speaking son in Asia so fulfilling! As an early adopter of creating and pushing content out on social, Betty considers herself a Social Media OG.

I worked for more than five years as an admissions and communications associate. As an admission interviewer, file reader, and admission committee member, I developed insights into how the admissions process works, and what applications stand out.

I am a Norwegian, born and raised in Oslo, and with a master’s in business and marketing from Oslo, I married Stuart in London more than 30 years ago. We moved to New Jersey from London in 1998.

Our signature brand, Market Your Genius is about taking your stories, skills, and experiences and packaging them into a profitable business. Specifically, my team and I help women get more dream clients and position themselves as a go-to industry expert. We do this through my new book, “Market Your Genius”, our podcast (also called “Market Your Genius”), a high touch online course called “Genius Profit Lab”, and a business growth incubator called “Genius Profit Society”.
