Member Spotlight: Meet Beth Nydick

I was a food blogger, when a former TV producer contact selected me to be a Dr. Oz blogger, but it was the worst mistake I ever made. I was armed with my mission statement and my recipes but my business wasn't ready. I had a great segment and was asked back but when I got back to my desk I realized my "opt in" was not active and I missed out on all the people that came to my website that week. I knew other women didn’t have the knowledge or background in TV that I did. I could help other small business owners and personal brands be ready for the spotlight.

Member Spotlight: Meet Meg Utterback

It was 1985. I applied through the Chinese Embassy in Washington DC to study law in China. I was accepted for graduate study at China People's University in Beijing. After 5 years of studying Chinese, I was finally headed to China. Rather than elation, my relatives expressed concern for my well being and mental health. I was from a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and going to Beijing seemed just short of flying to the moon.
