I was born in Medellín, Colombia, and raised in Miami. My journey has taken me to cities like Chicago, New York, and London, where I studied, explored different cultures, and earned my BFA in Fashion Design.
I've spent over 25 years building a career across product design, market and trend research, and education. Today, I'm navigating the many hats I wear as a corporate professional, entrepreneur, and mom to a daughter growing up in a multicultural, multilingual family.
I'm at a stage in life where I'm thinking intentionally about what success looks like to me. Alongside my professional career, I'm building a business rooted in my values and passions while figuring out how to balance ambition, motherhood, and making space for a fulfilling life beyond work. I'm always looking to learn, grow, and connect with people who challenge and inspire me.
I'm the founder of Mi Legasi (pronounced "me legacy"), an online platform dedicated to helping families raise confident bilingual children while preserving their cultural heritage. Through my work as a bilingual parenting educator, parent coach, author, and host of The Latina Mom Legacy podcast, I create resources and conversations that help parents navigate bilingual parenting with confidence.
I'm passionate about helping families understand that raising bilingual children is about more than language; it's about identity, connection, and helping them increase their socio-economic levels in society.
I'm always happy to connect with others who share an interest in education, culture, content creation, and building businesses with purpose and those that give back to minority communities.
My daughter attends Forge Prep, a thought-provoking and entrepreneurial school in Livingston, and I needed to find office space nearby as we live in Clifton, NJ. I didn't know that The Co-Co is also a community-focused co-working space, so that was a bonus!
