I grew up in Atlanta, spent a chapter in Austin, TX, and now call Short Hills, NJ, home. My career began at a fast-growing software start-up called Trilogy Software, where I caught the entrepreneurial bug early. After earning my MBA, I shifted gears into the corporate world, working in brand management at Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and General Mills, and later joined a boutique consulting firm helping organizations develop strategies and brands.
Over time, I realized that the through-line in every role wasn’t the product or the company - it was the people. I’ve always been drawn to the conversations behind the career moves: the mentoring moments, the “what’s next?” reflections, and the desire to grow with purpose. Eventually, I recognized it was time for my own next chapter - one that fully aligned with my core values of relationships and impact.
That’s what led me to create Jodi Murnick Coaching - a start-up of my own that helps college seniors and recent grads build the clarity and confidence to launch their careers and their lives with intention. Joining The Co-Co feels like the perfect continuation of that journey: a community of individuals who are reinventing, collaborating, and using their experience to make an impact - together.
I founded Jodi Murnick Coaching to help bridge the gap between college and career. I work with college seniors, recent grads, and early-career professionals to build the clarity, confidence, and direction they need to launch their next chapter with purpose.
Through 1:1 coaching, speaking engagements, and group workshops, I also partner with parents and organizations who want to better support this transition - parents seeking peace of mind as their young adults find their footing, and companies investing in the success and retention of early-career talent.
My approach blends practical strategy with personal insight, drawing on my background in recruiting, brand management, and consulting. At its core, my work is about helping people tell their stories powerfully, connect authentically, and move forward with courage and confidence. Curious how coaching could help? Let’s connect for a free 30-minute conversation — no pressure, just perspective.
I first heard about The Co-Co from women I met through other networking groups, and I kept noticing the same thing: every mention came with genuine enthusiasm. I was drawn to the energy of a community built by and for women who are growing, creating, and cheering each other on.
For me, The Co-Co has become both a source of learning and inspiration as I continue to build my business, and a community of connection that reminds me I don’t have to do it all alone. It’s a space where ideas and support flow easily and where being surrounded by smart, generous individuals pushes me to keep stretching, experimenting, and showing up fully in this next chapter.
