I was born and raised in Prague, in the then-socialist Czechoslovakia. I studied and graduated from Charles University with a Master’s degree in teaching biology and chemistry. I moved to the U.S. in 1991, and completely changed my life.
In 1996, I graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Since then, I have been working in UT, NY, and NJ. In 2015, I decided to learn how to relieve pain by using the touch of my hands. In 2018, I became a board-certified Healing Touch Practitioner. I also gained certifications for Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Access Bars, and Access Face Lift therapy.
While I still work as a staff RN in Morristown Medical Center's open heart recovery room, I also own Radiant Hands, LLC. I provide a holistic approach to wellness for my clients. The therapies I use are gentle and energy-based, using light touch to relieve stress, pain, or anxiety, promoting relaxation and sleep. Manual Lymphatic Drainage helps to reduce swelling, puffiness, or bruising, speeding up recovery from surgery. All therapies are non-invasive and supportive.
I heard about The Co-Co from a friend during a networking event. I went for a tour at the Florham Park location, and felt that the group and the environment are supportive of my professional growth. I joined to build new connections, receive advice, and share my experience.
