Check out NK Business Essentials!
I’m a Brooklyn girl at heart, raised by strong parents who immigrated from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. As a first-generation American, I had to figure out a lot on my own, but being from Brooklyn, resilience and resourcefulness came naturally.
I started out with dreams of becoming a thoracic surgeon. I went to school and worked in medical offices, but what I witnessed in their family lives made me pause on my track of becoming a physician. I realized the lifestyle wasn’t what I wanted for my own future family, so I shifted paths into health care administration. I earned a master’s in business and public health, but by 2009, I felt the weight of policies taking priority over people. That’s when I made the bold choice to start my own graphic design company, specializing in wedding invitations.
By 2011, after welcoming my first daughter, I stepped fully into entrepreneurship. A few years later, with my second daughter was born, we moved to New Jersey (more space), a new chapter that came with both the beauty and challenge of balancing motherhood with business ownership. Those years stretched me, but they also shaped me.
In 2019, everything began to shift. My daughters were becoming more independent, and I invested in my growth by attending a seminar that opened my eyes to what was possible. I went from selling $1,000 invitation suites to creating $15,000 luxury experiences in 2022 due to building systems that supported both my business and my clients. Out of that transformation, I created my signature SCALE framework.
Coaching found me soon after (on mistake). I never imagined myself as a coach, but when the opportunity came, I said yes and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Coaching has given me the gift of serving others while continuing to grow myself. Today, I am aligned with my girt of a sales and systems consultant and certified coach, running a company designed to help women entrepreneurs scale with their dreams ease, structure, and freedom.
My journey has been anything but linear, but every pivot prepared me to serve at the level I do today. And I love every part of it. My business is all about helping women entrepreneurs build empires (can be any size you choose) without burning out. Through NK Business Essentials, I guide CEOs and business owners in creating the structure, systems, and sales strategies they need to scale sustainably.
I created my signature S.C.A.L.E.™ Framework: Signature Client Journey, Confident Booking, Authority Pricing, Leveraged Automations, and Evergreen Testimonials, to help entrepreneurs design businesses that work for them, not the other way around.
Here’s how I serve my community:
I work with service-based entrepreneurs who are tired of doing anything and still feel like they're in the same space or only moved 2 inches in their business. These amazing entrepreneurs are fed up and ready to build a business that can actually pay them for their time and contribution.
In working with my client, I blend strategy with hands-on implementation, so it’s not just about what to do, but actually getting it done. I bring both my corporate background and entrepreneurial journey to the table, offering a perspective that balances growth with real-life challenges.
At the heart of my work is helping readers like you reclaim your time for what you love, while generating revenue in your business by streamlining admin tasks and empowering you to adopt your ICONIK CEO energy confidently. Because when your systems support you, you can focus on what you love most, serving clients, creating impact, and building a life filled with freedom and possibility.
I first heard about The Co-Co when it opened on Summit Avenue. I went to an event there, and I’ll never forget meeting some incredible people. At that time, I already had my own office space on Summit, so joining didn’t make sense just yet.
Later, The Co-Co was reintroduced to me by Melanie through the BIG (Believe, Inspire, Grow) community. I was in a season where I wanted to connect with entrepreneurs who were not only building their businesses but also truly excited about their journey. That’s what made The Co-Co stand out to me.
For me, The Co-Co represents more than just a workspace; it’s a community. I’ve built connections globally through social media, but locally, I was missing that same sense of belonging. Joining The Co-Co gave me the chance to plug into a community of like-minded, driven people who are passionate about growing and serving.
Today, The Co-Co plays a powerful role in both my life and career. It’s a space where education, encouragement, and collaboration come together, where people shine in their own unique ways. And I’m grateful to be part of a community that nourishes both business and personal growth.
