“I grew up in a suburb of Philly. I went to Penn State and that is where I met my husband! After graduation we moved to Hoboken and then settled in Short Hills, NJ, where we have lived for over 20 years. I worked in the NYC fashion industry as a Merchandising Director for companies like Liz Claiborne and Gap, Inc.

Born and raised in Berkeley, CA, graduated from UC Santa Barbara, and lived most of my adult life in San Francisco where I met my husband Brian. His work (in museums) brought us to the East Coast, and we’ve lived in Summit for ten years.

Charitable Giving is core to my mission, and I am proud to partner with local organizations that provide healthcare, social services and education in our community. Interested in partnering with me for your next fundraising event? I would love to chat with you about planning something amazing.
It has truly been an incredible adventure. I never imagined all the places I would go and the memories I would make. The support from my close circle of friends and family has been overwhelming and has made this journey so sweet.
Meeting women, learning about their story and helping them find something that makes them look and feel confident has been incredibly rewarding.

I’m Glenda, a local mom, web consultant, volunteer, sometime illustrator, former shop co-owner, and current publisher of Macaroni KID Summit Short Hills SOMA. My family and I live in the NJ suburbs after having spent some years as city dwellers and suburbs before that. You could say we’ve done a full circle and are happy for it. We enjoy reading, the arts, music, film, and exploring new areas by foot or bike.

Born and raised in a small town outside of Cleveland, Ohio, I went to college at The Ohio State University where I met my husband. We have lived in Chicago, NYC, Hoboken and finally Short Hills, NJ where we currently live with our 15yr old daughter and 12 year old son. I made the hard decision to quite my corporate HR job and stay home with the kids, but soon realized I needed to do something creative and decided to start my own business. With my obsession for candles and desire for clean living, I set out to make a clean luxury candle scented beautifully with timeless design.
